About this course

This course provides an elaborate overview of what it takes to design effective app launcher icons in both IOS and Android.

For our first project, we're going to design an IOS app icon. Initially, we'll spend a lesson examining the various requirements put forth by Apple when it concerns icon design. Then we will design an IOS icon for a fictional project.

Then we will switch gears and focus on designing an Android app icon. Once again, we will make sure we understand the latest app icon requirements by examining the guidelines put forth by Google, and then focus on designing the icon throughout the remainder of the course.
